What an Anthropic partner listing tells you about an AI firm

Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI models, runs a public directory of service partners. When it was read on 20 October 2026, it held 321 entries. 312 of them carried a tier set by Anthropic: Global Premier, Preferred or Select. The one-line description beside each name is written by the partner. Ten of the fourteen firms in this guide appear in it. This page explains what a listing shows, what the pages read did not state, and the questions to ask a firm about its listing before you rely on it.

Key takeaways

  • Six firms in this guide hold Anthropic's Preferred tier: Tribe AI, Loka, Provectus, Factored, Thoughtworks and Slalom. Four hold Select: Ode with Anthropic, ClearScale, Grid Dynamics and Turing.
  • Anthropic sets the tier. The partner writes the one-line description beside its name, so that line is the firm's own account.
  • The directory pages read on 20 October 2026 did not state what a firm must do to reach any of its three tiers.
  • Anthropic co-owns Ode with Anthropic, so Ode's listing comes from one of its owners.
  • Reveneau, Fluxon, Distyl AI and IDEO were not listed on 20 October 2026. Use the listing as one fact among several, and ask every firm to show its Claude work on your own data.

Anthropic makes the Claude family of AI models. It also runs a public directory of firms that build with Claude for clients. Its web address for service partners, claude.com/partners/services, now sends visitors to that directory at partnerhub.claude.com [1]. When the directory was read on 20 October 2026, it held 321 entries.

Most entries have two parts that matter to a buyer. The first is a tier, and Anthropic sets it. The directory showed three tier labels that day: Global Premier on 16 entries, Preferred on 40 and Select on 256. Nine entries showed no tier. The second is a one-line description beside the firm's name, and the partner writes it. So one part of the listing is Anthropic's decision and the other is the firm's own words.

What the directory shows for the firms in this guide

Firm Directory result on 20 October 2026 Name used in the directory
Reveneau Not listed, after a search of all 321 entries None
Fluxon Not listed, after a search of all 321 entries None
Ode with Anthropic Select Ode with Anthropic

IDEO Not listed None

Six firms hold Preferred and four hold Select. Four are not listed: Reveneau, Fluxon, Distyl AI and IDEO. None of the fourteen holds Global Premier, the tier shown for Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey & Company and 13 other firms.

What a listing shows

Anthropic names the firm as a partner and sets its tier. The tier is Anthropic's decision, which makes it the one part of the listing that comes from outside the firm.

The firm has a working relationship with Anthropic. A buyer who has already chosen Claude may value that relationship.

The firm's own one-line summary. The description beside each name is the firm's own text. Grid Dynamics, for example, uses its line to say it has helped Fortune 1000 enterprises build AI and digital engineering systems since 2006. That is Grid Dynamics's own statement about itself.

What the pages read did not state

The directory pages read for this guide on 20 October 2026 did not state what a firm must do to reach any of the three tiers. A buyer should therefore treat the tier as Anthropic's label for the relationship, and judge the work by other means.

For the firm's size, prices, clients and engineers, you need other sources. A firm with a Preferred tier and a firm with no listing need the same checks before you sign.

The owner case: Ode with Anthropic

TechCrunch reported in July 2026 that Ode with Anthropic is a $1.5 billion joint venture that Anthropic launched in May with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs and others, and that Ode works closely with Anthropic's applied AI team [2]. Ode is listed at the Select tier. Because Anthropic is one of Ode's owners, the listing comes from an owner. That is useful to know in two ways. A buyer who wants close access to Anthropic may see the tie as an advantage. A buyer who wants advice that is free of any one model maker may prefer a firm with no such tie.

Firms that are not listed

A missing listing tells you only that the firm was not in the directory on the day it was read. Reveneau's case is covered further down this page. For each of the other three unlisted firms, this guide records a different platform tie or a different type of work.

Fluxon has a listing in Stripe's partner directory, which shows Fluxon as a Verified Partner and a Premier Services Partner, with 2 Stripe Certified Professional Developers [3]. That is a payments partnership, so it matters most for a project that handles payments.

Distyl AI collaborates closely with OpenAI, according to SiliconANGLE [5].

IDEO is a design agency, as Fortune describes it, and its AI Lab sells strategy and design work.

Other partner programmes in this guide

Anthropic's directory is one of several programmes run by platform companies. Each one tells you about the firm's relationship with that platform.

Programme Firm What it shows
Anthropic partner directory Ten firms in this guide A tier set by Anthropic: Preferred for six of them, Select for four [1]
Stripe partner directory Fluxon Verified Partner, Premier Services Partner, 2 Stripe Certified Professional Developers [3]
AWS Partners of the Year, 2024 Loka North America winner of Innovation Partner of the Year [4]
AWS partnership, by the firm's own account ClearScale Says it was started by AWS engineers and builds on AWS [7]

Each listing describes the firm's relationship with one platform company. The firm's work for clients needs its own check.

Where Reveneau fits

Reveneau was not listed in Anthropic's directory when it was searched on 20 October 2026 [1]. By its own account, AI writes 100 percent of its code, and every change has to pass a large eval suite, written from the client's specification, before release. A grading model called Jev scores that suite, and Reveneau says Jev makes it run ten times faster than its previous grader did. Reveneau uses AI in place of hiring more engineers and puts that saving into clients' prices, and it takes responsibility for the whole project through production and after release. For a Claude project, ask Reveneau the same questions as any listed firm, below. The AI development service page describes the work, and the contact page is the place to start.

Questions to ask a firm about its listing

  1. Which tier do you hold, and under which name? Some names differ: Tribe AI appears as TribeAI and Slalom as Slalom Consulting.
  2. What did Anthropic ask of you to reach that tier?
  3. Which Claude models would you use for my project, and why those?
  4. If a newer model works better for my project, will you switch? What would that cost?
  5. Do you have ties to other model makers? Would you recommend one of their models if it fit better?
  6. Can you show your test results for a Claude system on data like mine?

NIST's AI Risk Management Framework, item GOVERN 6.1, asks organizations to have policies for AI risks that come from third parties [6]. A firm's partnerships with model makers are part of that review, because they can shape what the firm recommends.

How to read the one-line descriptions

The text beside each name is the firm's own summary, so read it the way you would read the firm's homepage. Look for facts you can check: an office, a product, a named industry. Treat words that describe quality as the firm's opinion of itself. If a description names a client or a number, look for a source outside the firm before you rely on it.

Some firms appear under a name that differs from the one on their website. Tribe AI is listed as TribeAI, Slalom as Slalom Consulting, and ClearScale as Clearscale. Search for more than one spelling, and for the firm's former name, before you conclude that a firm is missing.

Listings change

The directory is a live page. Firms can join or leave, and a name can change after a sale. Ode with Anthropic was called Fractional AI before the Anthropic joint venture bought it, as TechCrunch reported in July 2026 [2]. Every tier on this page is dated 20 October 2026. Before you sign, open the directory again and confirm the firm's current entry and tier under every name it uses.

If your project does not use Claude

Your project may use models from more than one maker, or you may not have chosen one yet. In that case one model maker's directory covers only part of your choice. Factored calls itself model, cloud and platform neutral on its own homepage, and Distyl AI collaborates closely with OpenAI, according to SiliconANGLE [5]. Ask each firm which models it would test for your project, and ask it to compare at least two on your own data before it recommends one.

How to use a listing in a decision

Use the directory to build a first list if you have already chosen Claude. Then judge every firm on the list, listed or not, by the same tests: a paid task on your own data, written answers to the same questions, and a contract that gives you the code and a way to leave. The questions to ask an AI development company page gives the full set, and the full list shows every firm's entry.

Common questions

What is Anthropic's partner directory?

Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI models, runs a public directory of firms that build with Claude for clients, at partnerhub.claude.com. When it was read on 20 October 2026, it held 321 entries. Most entries carry a tier that Anthropic sets, Global Premier, Preferred or Select, and a one-line description beside the firm's name, which the partner writes.

What is the difference between Anthropic's Select and Preferred tiers?

Both are tier labels that Anthropic gives to partner firms in its directory, and Global Premier is a third. The directory pages read on 20 October 2026 did not state what a firm must do to reach any of them. That day, 40 entries showed Preferred and 256 showed Select. Ask a firm what Anthropic asked of it to reach its tier, and judge its work with a test on your own data.

Which Bay Area AI firms hold Anthropic's Preferred tier?

Six firms in this guide hold the Preferred tier in Anthropic's directory, read on 20 October 2026: Tribe AI, listed as TribeAI; Loka; Provectus; Factored; Thoughtworks; and Slalom, listed as Slalom Consulting. Four firms hold the Select tier: Ode with Anthropic, ClearScale, listed as Clearscale, Grid Dynamics and Turing.

Who writes the description beside a firm's name in Anthropic's directory?

The partner writes it. Anthropic sets the tier, but the one-line description beside each name is the firm's own text. Treat it as the firm's statement about itself. For example, Grid Dynamics uses its line to say it has helped Fortune 1000 enterprises since 2006, which is Grid Dynamics's own claim.

Is Ode with Anthropic's partner listing independent?

Ode's listing comes from one of its owners. TechCrunch reported in July 2026 that Anthropic launched Ode as a joint venture with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs and others. Anthropic sets the tiers in its directory, and it gave Ode the Select tier. Treat that tier as a description of the tie between Ode and one of its owners.

Which firms in this guide are not in Anthropic's directory?

Four firms in this guide were not listed on 20 October 2026: Reveneau, Fluxon, Distyl AI and IDEO. The directory gives no reasons. For three of them this guide records a different tie or type of work: Stripe lists Fluxon as a Premier Services Partner, SiliconANGLE reported that Distyl AI works closely with OpenAI, and Fortune describes IDEO as a design agency.

Should I only hire an AI firm that is in Anthropic's directory?

Limit your list to Anthropic partners only if your project must run on Claude and you want a firm that Anthropic names as a partner. Even then, use the directory to build a first list and test every firm the same way: a paid task on your own data, the same written questions, and a contract that gives you the code and a way to leave.

What does a Stripe partner listing tell me about Fluxon?

Stripe's partner directory, read on 20 October 2026, lists Fluxon as a Verified Partner and a Premier Services Partner with 2 Stripe Certified Professional Developers. That shows a working relationship with Stripe, the payments company. It matters most if your project handles payments. Ask Fluxon directly for client references.

What should I ask an AI firm about its Anthropic partnership?

Ask which tier it holds and under which name, what Anthropic asked of it to reach that tier, which Claude models it would use for your project and why, whether it has ties to other model makers, and whether it would switch models if a newer one worked better. Then ask for test results on data like yours.

Is Reveneau in Anthropic's partner directory?

Reveneau was not listed in Anthropic's directory when it was searched on 20 October 2026. By its own account, AI writes 100 percent of its code, and every change has to pass an eval suite written from the client's specification before release, graded by a model called Jev. For a Claude project, ask Reveneau which models it would use and why, and ask to see test results on data like yours.
