This page lists the firms in this guide that name an office, or a count of staff, in Central and Eastern Europe. The term has no single official list of countries, so this page uses it for eight: Poland, Czechia, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. Thirteen of the twenty firms in this guide name a place in at least one of them. Capgemini is counted only at its Paris seat, because the pages read give no list of its other offices. Every page used here was read on 21 October 2026.
Each office below says who names it. A government register, an official public list of companies, confirms some of them. A filing, an annual report that a listed company must publish, confirms others. The rest come from the firm's own website, which is the firm's own claim. The full list of AI development companies in Europe has one entry for each firm.
Reveneau and Fluxon
Reveneau has no office in Europe. Its offices are at 435 Utah Street in San Francisco and on Floor 33, 909 Mainland Street, in Vancouver. Reveneau says AI writes 100 percent of its code and that every change must pass a large eval suite, a set of automated tests written from the project's specification, before release. It says Jev, the model that grades the suite, makes the suite run ten times faster than its previous grader. By its own account, Reveneau puts the saving from using AI in place of more engineers into its clients' prices, and takes responsibility for the whole project through production and after release. You can contact Reveneau to ask how it would run a project for a team in this region.
Fluxon's careers page lists roles located in Poland, among them Senior Technical Project Manager, and says the company is "100% remote" [11]. So Fluxon hires in Poland and in Portugal. None of the pages read names a Fluxon office in Poland or anywhere else in Europe, so it does not appear in the city table below.

Poland
Eight firms in this guide name an office in a Polish city. Four of them have their head office there. Software Mansion, Miquido and Monterail are product studios, firms that design and build a whole software product for a client with one team. deepsense.ai is a firm whose main work is AI. Unit8, Netcompany, N-iX and Reply have their head offices in other countries and name Polish offices as well. Endava's filing also lists Poland among the countries of its delivery locations, with no city.
Two Polish government lists confirm three of these offices. The first is the National Court Register, known as KRS, which records every Polish company with its legal form and its seat. It lists Software Mansion S.A. under number 0000961952, with its seat at ul. Zabłocie 43b in Kraków [4]. It lists Monterail under number 0000357415, at ul. Oławska 27 in Wrocław [6]. The second is the Ministry of Finance VAT register, a public list of businesses registered for sales tax, which gives Miquido's address as Zabłocie 43a in Kraków and marks the business as "Czynny", Polish for active [5]. The same register marks Software Mansion as an active VAT taxpayer at Zabłocie 43B [17].
N-iX gives its Kraków office as 43A ul. Zabłocie, so three firms in this guide give neighbouring addresses on the same street. Miquido, Software Mansion and N-iX are three separate companies.
deepsense.ai gives its headquarters at al. Jerozolimskie 44 in Warsaw [15]. Its pages print no KRS or tax number, so no register entry could be matched to it by an exact number, and its Warsaw address comes from its own pages. Netcompany names an office at ul. Puławska 180 in Warsaw [14]. Unit8 names offices at Starowiślna 13 in Kraków, in the City Space MidPoint building at Powstańców Śląskich 9 in Wrocław and at ul. Józefa Piusa Dziekońskiego 1 in Warsaw [13]. N-iX names Warsaw, Wrocław and Kraków offices on its contacts page [9]. Reply, a large IT group with its head office in Turin, names one Polish office, at ul. Wrocławska 54 in Katowice [18].
Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia
Infinum is the one firm in this guide with its head office in Croatia. Its contact page names offices at Strojarska 22 in Zagreb, Tivolska cesta 48 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Maksim Gorki 13 in Skopje, North Macedonia [10]. Its legal page names the company Infinum d.o.o., a Croatian limited liability company, at Mala Švarča 23 in Karlovac, entered in the court register of the Commercial Court in Zagreb. The Croatian court register's search form could not be read by script on 21 October 2026, so that entry was not checked.
Alexander Thamm, an AI firm with its head office in Munich, names a Zagreb office at Heinzelova ulica 60 [16]. Reply names an office in Zagreb's Sky Office building, at Ulica Roberta Frangeša Mihanovića 9 [18]. All three Zagreb offices come from the firms' own pages.
Czechia
STRV is the one firm in this guide with its head office in Czechia. The Czech ARES register, the country's public register of businesses, lists STRV s.r.o., a Czech limited liability company, with company number 28888286, at Rohanské nábřeží 678/23 in the Karlín district of Prague [7]. ARES gives 4 May 2009 as the date that company was created, and STRV's own about page says "Here since 2004". STRV also names an office at Prizova 537/1 in Brno, from its own site.
Romania and Bulgaria
Endava, a large IT group with its registered office in London, gives its staff in Romania in its Form 20-F, the annual report it files with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). For the year to 30 June 2025, the filing places 1,082 delivery employees in Cluj-Napoca and 909 in Bucharest [8]. It says its delivery locations "are principally located in" EU countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania and Slovenia), four other Central European countries, Latin America, South East Asia and India. A filing is the company's own statement, made in a formal report to a regulator. No later annual filing appeared in the SEC's list read on 21 October 2026.
Three more firms name a Bucharest office on their own pages. N-iX gives Sos. Barbu Vacarescu 301-311 [9], adesso gives Calea Dorobanți 33A [19], and Reply gives 17 Ceasornicului Street [18].
In Bulgaria, N-iX names an office at 23A Dragan Tsankov Blvd. in Sofia [9], and adesso names offices in Sofia and Plovdiv [19].
Ukraine
N-iX says it "started out as Novellix in 2002" and names two offices in Lviv, at 7D Naukova St. and 72 Heroiv UPA St., and one in Kyiv, at 15-B Leiptsyzka St. [9]. Its legal notice names N-iX Ltd in Valletta, Malta, and its office list marks Malta as its HQ. The Malta register was not opened, so every N-iX fact on this page comes from N-iX's own pages. Anthropic's partner directory lists N-iX at the Select tier [1].
How many enterprises in the region use AI
Eurostat, the statistics office of the European Union, counts the share of enterprises with 10 or more employees that used at least one AI technology. Its 2025 figures put the EU as a whole at 19.95 percent [2]. Every country in this region for which the figure was read sits below that share.
| Country | Enterprises using AI, 2025 (Eurostat) |
|---|---|
| EU, all countries | 19.95% |
| Czechia | 17.6% |
| Croatia | 15.19% |
| Bulgaria | 8.55% |
| Poland | 8.36% |
| Romania | 5.21% |
Eurostat names Romania, Poland and Bulgaria as the three EU countries with the lowest shares in 2025. The figures read for this guide do not cover Ukraine, and no figure for Slovenia or North Macedonia was read. Each share counts the enterprises in that country that use AI themselves.
Stanford's AI Index 2026 lists the fifteen countries with the most newly funded AI companies in 2025, using data from Quid [12]. None of the eight countries on this page is in that list.
What developers earn in Poland
Statistics Poland, known as GUS, publishes its study of pay by occupation every two years. Its October 2024 study gives average gross monthly pay of PLN 15,629.51 for group 251, "Analitycy systemów komputerowych i programiści", which means computer systems analysts and programmers, across all sectors [3]. For the private sector alone it gives PLN 15,865.65. Gross pay is pay before tax. October 2024 is the latest month the study covers. What AI development costs in Europe, by country sets this figure beside the Danish and Dutch figures and explains what a firm's price adds to it.
How to check an office before you sign
Ask each firm for the street address of the office the people on your project will work from, and for the name of the company that will sign the contract. Then look the company up in the register of its country. In Poland, search KRS by the number the firm gives you. In Czechia, search ARES by the company number. If the firm gives no number, or the register shows a different address, ask why before you sign. Ask whether the people on your project are employees of that company or work through a partner firm, and write the answer into the contract.
For questions about how to compare firms in general, read how to choose a software development partner. For the firms that place engineers inside a client's own team, the separate guide to forward deployed engineering firms in Poland and Portugal covers a different set of companies.
